Red Bluff Physical Therapy Doctor

Ed
President and CEO

Ed is the President and CEO of the Physical Therapy & Wellness Center and Tehama Family Fitness Center. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy in 1984 from Fresno State University. He went on shortly thereafter to complete the necessary requirements for his athletic training and strength and conditioning certifications. His primary experience has been in the realm of general orthopedics and sports medicine with an emphasis on therapeutic exercise.

Ed believes exercise is the best medicine – both empowering and energizing – and that exercise will increase one’s sense of control over everyday life. “You’re never too sick or too old to start exercising.”

In 1986 Ed established the north state’s first athletic training/sports medicine program at Red Bluff High School. He was a volunteer at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City where he worked at the hockey venue and was the onsite athletic trainer for the men’s Gold Medal game.

He has worked as an associate athletic trainer with Justin Sports Medicine Program for 20 years, treating and evaluating rodeo injuries.

In his free time, Ed enjoys spending time with his family, fixing up his house, participating in many types of exercise – particularly stand up paddle surfing.
