Lonnie Scott

Lonnie Scott is the Business Manager and Athletic Trainer at Physical Therapy and Wellness Center. Lonnie started working at PTWC as an Athletic Trainer in 2002 after working for several years in professional football. In 2006, he began working as the Business Manager where he oversees the operational and financial aspects of Physical Therapy and Wellness Center, Inc.

Lonnie Graduated from Red Bluff High School then received his bachelor’s degree in Health and Human Performance from Brigham Young University with and emphasis in Athletic Training. He became certified as an athletic trainer in 1993. Upon graduating from BYU, Lonnie started working for the San Diego Chargers, where he was an assistant until 2000. During his time in San Diego, Lonnie received his Master’s degree in Health Services Management from Webster University. From San Diego, Lonnie went on to become the head athletic trainer for the Los Angeles Avengers of the Arena Football League where he remained for two seasons.

In addition to his duties at PTWC, Lonnie has been teaching a Therapeutic Services class at Red Bluff High School since 2002. He also has sports medicine duties working with RBHS football, wrestling, basketball and soccer.

In his spare time, Lonnie enjoys spending time with his wife Ellie and children Haley and Evan. Lonnie also enjoys traveling and competing in endurance events.
